The University of South Florida (Tampa) has been having some car meets every month. I worked at one of these months ago for my job as a NOS brand ambassador. After seeing the turnout, I was hoping to bring the car out. Finally, on July 27th, I had no schedule conflicts and brought out the car to park in the NOS Energy booth display.
We were there early since we had to trailer in, and
immediately had people who recognized the car from events or videos. It is awesome to just see people gathering and
pointing out their favorite part of the car we have put together. From the
DuraFlex conversion kit, the giant wing Cody has helped make, the Autometer
gauges in the sick dash All American and Hazel helped make, to the drool
inspiring motor under the bonnet; this
car gets its fair share of attention.
Throughout the entire show, we were chatting with car
enthusiasts about everything from drifting to how we made the dash. We spent 4
hours out here and from the reaction we got, I will look for more car shows with
this or even larger turn outs. If we don’t find a spot in the SEMA Show, there
is a Simply Clean (FL biggest meets) show in November.
