Floating Down the Road

Jim’s Body Shop, our paint and body partner, has its own events that we take part in when possible. Recently, we were at the car wash display and car show for a multiple day setup. This time, we were able to attend the 45th Annual Seminole PowWow Festival.

A major part of this event is the parade that runs down the main Seminole Blvd. We arrived early to setup our group of Mustangs, Ferraris, a Hummer and some other exotics. All these cars are customers of Jim’s and came out to show support of the shop in the parade.

Before we were even started we had young enthusiasts pumped about the new look on the car and showed us their excitement with a hilarious pose!

Hazel rode shotgun as we rolled down the parade route. Definitely standing out as the only “race” car in the parade, we seemed to be a crowd favorite. We were the source of some funny moments from the young kids with shouts of “Ohhhhhh look at THAT one!!!”, “I call dibs on the yellow car!” or “That one is better than the red one! (Ferrari)”. Adding to that, we would give a roar with the big LS and let the rumble inject some energy into the crowd!

For a while I’ve wanted to get into some parades for the high attendance, diversity of fans and low cost to our program.  After being a part of this parade, my instincts were dead on and we will look for more similar opportunities this year!
