Cruisin' the Streets

For about 2 months we had known about a local car meet that was only about 1/2 mile from us. We planned to take the car on the road again for the short trip and eat some grub with fellow car guys. A few days before, the location was no longer viable as it would not grant the coordinator a permit. So the location was changed to about 7 miles away...

We were so excited to street the car again, we decided we were still going to drive there. As we show up, there are about 20 other cars in a line and we are all informed that this venue is also revoking the event and its moved a few more miles away.

We've come too far, so we still ride out, in the group now, to the new site. With nothing planned with this venue, the meet was very lucky to find a space big enough for us to setup.

More and more cars rolled in, about 50 in total. Not bad for a local bbq meet with no actual show/prizes going on. Its amazing to me how many "car guys" still are insanely shocked about the LS swap in a Nissan. Seems very cookie cutter to many drifters, but the rest of the world has no idea still.

On the way to the event, All American trailed us and got a few rolling shots on the bridge. As we left for home, photographer friend Chris Brut (Brut Photography) was able to follow us a while and get some more street shots including a hilarious shot that looks like we are racing a soccer mom in her minivan!
